Massacre in Pampas, Tayacaja
In February 1982, a group of 200 heavily armed subversives attacked five villages in Tayacaja, resulting in the massacre of 15 villagers, including two municipal agents and a lieutenant governor. En Pampas, provincia de Tayacaja, en Huancavelica, 200 subversivos fuertemente armados incursionaron en cinco poblados de Tayacaja y masacraron a 15 campesinos. Entre las víctimas se encontraban dos agentes municipales y un teniente gobernador. El hecho ocurrió el 18 de febrero.
