Four civilians killed by PCP-SL during attack on Uchiza, accused of being 'snitches'

During the attack on Uchiza, members of the PCP-SL killed four civilians. A woman attending to the wounded was accused of being a 'snitch' and killed, placing a sign over her corpse that read 'Así mueren las soplonas' (This is how snitches die). A man arrested for robbery was released from the dungeons and subsequently murdered with the inscription 'Así mueren los soplones' (So snitches die) on his chest. At guard post N°7 of the San Pedro hostel, an elderly woman was shot and killed while protecting two minors, one of whom was wounded.
