Installation of the National Solidarity Economic Pact Commission
Installation of the permanent commission of the Economic Pact of National Solidarity at ESAN, an initiative of the Minister of Economy Carlos Rivas Dávila to coordinate with business and union sectors in the midst of the economic crisis.
On March 14, 1989, the permanent commission of the Economic Pact of National Solidarity project was installed at the School of Business Administration (ESAN). This initiative was promoted by the Minister of Economy, Carlos Rivas Dávila, who had previously announced the reorientation of government policies. The first meeting of the Economic Solidarity Pact was held in February with the participation of business and union sectors. This pact sought to generate consensus among different economic and social sectors of the country in a context of severe economic crisis.
