Wilson's murder due to breach of surveillance

Shining Path executed Wilson for falling asleep during surveillance in Satipo.

Shining Path murdered Wilson, son of a declarant, with a bullet for not properly carrying out surveillance. The young man had climbed a tree to keep watch but was found sleeping by Shining Path security, with his gun on the ground. The rule was clear: if you sleep during surveillance, you are a dead man. This case illustrates the iron discipline and extreme punishments imposed by the Shining Path, even on its own recruits.
