Aggression and threats to community members in Tamburqui by Army troops

Army personnel entered the community of Tamburqui and house by house removed the villagers, gathering them in the plaza. They forced the affiant and her neighbor to bring blankets and hides for the soldiers. When they returned to the plaza, the Chief of the soldiers told them 'Ah, you still have the grace to bring hides and blankets, you big Indian whore, now you are going to be punished all night'. The husband of the affiant was arrested and when she tried to stop him, she was assaulted with blows, punches and kicks while they told her 'big Indian whore, or you want to receive the blows... get out of here Indian'. The case evidences violence with a component of racial and gender discrimination.
