PCP-SL ambush at Rondos Bridge
In an ambush on a military patrol at the Rondos bridge, 13 soldiers were killed, generating a brutal response in which 20 presumed Shining Path members lost their lives, although according to family members, most of them were peasants who were not part of the subversion.
