Seizure and Disappearance of Nine Campesinos
On May 2, 1992, nine campesinos were reportedly abducted, prompting their families to file a Habeas Corpus petition. Judge María Luisa Kuo Ying investigated the Naval Base and Police Delegation in Chimbote but found no trace of the detainees. The action of Habeas Corpus was ultimately declared inadmissible.
